This recipe for easy sauteed zucchini is flavorful and quick to make. The flavors are so delicious and mouth watering – a must make meal!

I love eating zucchini.  It’s just that vegetable that works so well with me.  I can do so much with it and the flavors are always there.  That’s why when I’m in a pinch, I can make this easy sauteed zucchini recipe.

It really works so well and comes together so quickly.  The prep time is about 5 minutes and the cook time is around 10 minutes.  So in less than 20 minutes, you can have a delicious lunch or dinner.  So lets get to what you actually need to make this.

I love to use a nice cast iron pan.  It gets so hot and the flavors get locked in and released with the cast iron, so the flavors are even more vibrant and delicious.  So really, to get started – you just need some garlic, olive oil, salt and pepper, Parmesan cheese (if you’d like), and of course the main ingredients…zucchini!

Chop up the zucchini into slices and get the pan hot over a medium to high heat.  Add in the oil and get the garlic cooking.  Throw in the zucchini slices and cook for a few minutes.  Season it with salt and pepper to your taste, and finish off with the Parmesan cheese…your meal is ready to be served!

Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 5 medium zucchini (thinly sliced)
  • salt & black pepper (to taste)
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a medium-large skillet, heat up the oil over medium heat.
  2. Add the garlic and cook it for 1 to 2 minutes until its fragrant.
  3. Add in the zucchini slices and cook it for 3 to 4 minutes or until they’re softened
  4. Season it with salt, pepper, and Parmesan cheese (if you want to use it), all to taste and your liking.
