How to Quickly Ripen the Avocados

So how do you ripen an avocado so quickly?  The answer may surprise you and you’ll have it done in only 10 minutes – can you believe that!?

This is what you need to do.

Ripen A Rock Hard Avocado In Just 10 Minutes!

What you need:  A baking sheet, some aluminum foil, and the rock hard avocado

What you do:  Wrap the whole fruit in tinfoil and set it on the baking sheet.  Pop it into the oven at 200 degrees Fahrenheit for ten minutes, or until the avocado is soft (depending on it’s hardness, this could take an hour to soften).  Remove it from the oven, and then put your now soft and ripe avocado into the refrigerator.

Why this works:  Avocados produce ethylene gas, which is typically released at a slow pace, and is what causes fruit to ripen.  But when you put the avocado into the tinfoil. the gas surrounds it, and it puts the ripening process into overdrive.
