Reese’s Marshmallow Brownie Bars

These Reese’s marshmallow brownie bars are just the perfect dessert. The chocolate, peanut butter, and marshmallow flavors go so well together and every bite is perfection!

The chocolaty gooey flavors in these Reese’s marshmallow brownie bars are just out of this world.  They are just so darn delicious and I love making these for my friends and family.

But what exactly makes these one of my favorite desserts?  I’m a huge Reese’s peanut butter cup fan.  Like these are my favorite candy in the whole world.  Now throw in the fact that I can put the mini peanut butter cups on brownies….what can I not love about this recipe!?

The marshmallow creme adds such a creamy texture that has a little bit of crunch due to the crispy rice cereal that is blended together.  All in all – this dessert has everything that someone is going to want if they’re in the mood for a heavenly tasting dessert.

The prep time to get all these ingredients ready to go is 15 minutes.  The actual cook time for making these Reese’s marshmallow brownie bars is 30 minutes.  So in around 45 minutes, you can have this fantastic Reese’s peanut butter cup topped brownie dessert ready to serve to your party guests.

Ingredients

  • 18 oz brownie mix plus ingredients needed to make brownies
  • 7 oz marshmallow creme
  • 25 Reese’s miniatures halved
  • 12 oz bag semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 3 cups crispy rice cereal

Instructions

  1. Bake the brownies according to the package instructions using a 9×13 baking pan.  Let them cool and then refrigerate for at least an hour.
  2. Spread the marshmallow cream evenly on top of the chilled brownies.  Return them to the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
  3. Top the brownies with Reese’s miniatures that you’ve cut in half.
  4. Melt the peanut butter and chocolate chips together in a microwave safe bowl.  Heat them up on the high setting for 30 seconds at a time, stirring in between.
  5. Stir in the crispy rice cereal until it get completely coated.  Spread that mixture over the top of the Reese’s miniatures.
  6. Put the bars back into the refrigerator for 1 hour before cutting into them.
  7. You can store any leftovers in the refrigerator inside an airtight container.
